High Impact Volunteers - Monday, May 24, 2021

Library volunteerism is evolving beyond the basics to bring expertise and unique skills to respond to the community and give it greater support and diversity.

These High Impact Volunteers serve in ways you may not expect, offering classes, clubs,  and informative talks in subjects from computer engineering to tax help to adult literacy.

They make a difference serving the homeless and recovering, teaching the next generation marketable skills, creating independence in the elderly  through literacy and technology programs, helping the community navigate tricky necessary life requirements such as legal advice, tax help, and assistance with Medicare and retirement. They add spice to life with arts and crafts, cooking, book clubs, and other social engagements.

High Impact Volunteering can change lives for the better.

As we evolve our idea of volunteering to assist our patrons and community we ask that you too consider the impact you can make on your life and the lives of others.

Come explore the opportunities at Cottonwood Public Library and create something greater with us.
