How many items may I check out?

You are allowed to check out fifty (50) total items per card. Twenty (20) of those items can be Audio/Visual materials (DVDs/Blu-Rays, CDs, CD-Books, etc).

How many times am I able to renew my items?

Most items may be renewed a maximum of three (3) times total, as long as there are no holds on the item.

Where do I return my items?

If you are coming into the library, items may be returned to the main circulation desk, either in the wooden dropbox near the parking lot entrance or on the middle of the Circulation desk. If you're going into the Youth Services Department, items may be returned there as well.

If you're not able to make it into the library during business hours, or you're just looking to drop off items, we have two dropboxes outside on the parking lot side of the building. Directly to the right of the door is a metal container that is for Audio/Visual returns and further to the right is a drop slot set in the building that you can use to drop off your books.

Please make sure you are using the correct drop box, as books have a tendency to damage A/V materials when dropped on top of them.

Can I return my items to another library?

As long as the library is in the Yavapai Library Network, yes! Click here for a list of all the libraries that are part of our consortium: YLN Libraries
